A&M Printer scales new heights in business with KOMORI

NEW Delhi, April 8, 2024: Delhi-based A&M Printer, which is known for its proficiency in commercial & book printing, has scaled new heights in business with the installation of a brand-new KOMORI Lithrone GL37. The four-colour offset press—supplied and installed by KOMORI India—has eventually triggered A&M Printer to handle the ever increasing demands for premium-quality printing and high-volume production.

A&M Printer, which was into a joint venture earlier, had set out its independent journey in the year 2018. “Since we have been into a new start in business, we keep focusing on major upgrades and developments in all verticals such as machine portfolio, manpower, productivity, etc,” says Mr K.R. Misra, Managing Partner, A&M Printer. He adds that the latest investment in the KOMORI Lithrone GL37 is a major transformation at the company’s machine portfolio.

“As long as we believe in going where the industry goes, KOMORI is such a brand every printer loves to own. Nowadays, we heard the industry people orchestrating praises of KOMORI presses’ flexibility, advanced features, capacity, and cost-effectiveness. This is the major reason why we opted for the brand new four-colour KOMORI Lithrone G37,” tells Mr K.R. Misra, adding that they have also been using some pre-owned presses.

Mr K.R. Misra mentions that demands from customers keep increasing in several sectors, particularly in book printing. At last, we are capable to keep everything under control with the installation of the KOMORI Lithrone G37. More precisely, all our trouble is gone forever now as KOMORI Lithrone G37 is outstandingly performing to meet our diverse needs in all parameters,” tells Mr K.R. Misra.

An epitome of cutting-edge technologies, KOMORI Lithrone G37 features an evolved version of KHS-AI integrated control system for quick print start-up. Being an ‘Offset OnDemand’ press, this highly versatile press addresses critical needs of short turnarounds, diverse applications including short-run jobs in low production costs. Compatible for A-1 size print outputs, KOMORI Lithrone G37 offers up to maximum sheet size of 640x940mm with thickness ranging from 0.04 to 0.60 mm delivered at the maximum printing speed of 15,000sph (sheets per hour).

With a facility clustered well into pre-press, press, and post-press divisions, A&M Printer is backed by a strong team of 25 printing and production professionals. In the top management, Mr K.R. Misra has been joined by his wife Mrs Gita Misra and son Mr Puneet Misra. “It’s really a privilege for me to be part of the management of A&M Printer,” says Mrs Gita. Currently, A&M Printer primarily engages in three major tasks—book printing (40%), job work (40%), and commercial printing (20%).

“Following the installation of KOMORI Lithrone G37, we have achieved a new traction in production volume,” says Mr Puneet Misra, Marketing Director, A&M Printer. He adds, “Now, we are capable to produce around 30 lakh sheets every month.” About the next-level development at A&M Printer, Mr Puneet emphasises that they are planning to upgrade the pre-press division where a CtP system will be installed soon.
